Law Enforcement (LE) II provides the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare for a career in LE. This course includes the ethical and legal responsibilities, operation of police and emergency telecommunication equipment, DWI procedures, interview and interrogation techniques, and courtroom procedures and testimony. In addition, students will learn about critical issues officers must face each day such as use of force, prisoner transport, emergency management, crisis management, conflict resolution, domestic violence and victim’s rights. Additionally previous law enforcement techniques are revisited and used to perform police operations and investigations.
